I hope soon. I can't keep track of when everyone is supposed to be sending out Early Action decisions.

My daughter also applied EA. We visited a couple of weeks ago. The admissions person who gave the presentation said EA decisions are supposed to go out by December 31st, but he is trying to have them out before Christmas, but wasn't going to guarantee it. My daughter won the St. Michael's book award at her school during junior year, so that is why she applied and we visited. She really liked the school and thought it would be a good fit for her. Good luck to you guys!

I applied too, and I'm patiently waiting for my letter. It's my favorite of the schools I'm applying to.

Yes there were two EA dates. My daughter applied EA I which was due by Nov. 1 and is the December 31 notification. EA II was due by December 1 and notification says by February 1. So I guess you still have awhile to wait Mandi_4ever. Hope we all have good news whichever date we hear on.

Daughter got her acceptance today in upstate NY. She loves the school but is waiting for scholarship information before she can make a decision. I don't think those come until February, so still a long wait.

Yikes, five months for a decision? Where did your son end up?

CapeCodLady8,

Please do not be concerned! My best assumption is that Jedediah's son applied in December but indicated he wanted to be considered for the February 01 deadline instead of the December 01 deadline. We have a two month turn around for each deadline. Therefore, the application may have been submitted in December but our Feb. applicants do not hear from us until late March or early April.

Of course, the high school may have taken awhile on sending us the transcripts, teacher recommendations, etc. That could also explain why it took so long for us to send a decision.

Here are the expected turn around dates for each deadline:
Early Action 1 (November 01) will hear by January 01
Early Action 2 (Decemeber 01) will hear by February 01
Regular Decision (February 01) will hear by early April.

If you ever have questions do not hesitate to get in touch with our staff!

Take care,
Mallory Wood
