If your hs has Naviance - use that to see the average accepted ACT score at the colleges that interest you. If you don't have access to Naviance - look on the colleges admissions websites. They will typically post a midrange ACT score for accepted students. Say for example the mid-range is 22 - 26. This means 25% of accepted students scored below a 22, 50% scored between 22 - 26, and 25% scored above a 26. So, for this college, a 25 would be good because you are towards the upper end of the mid-range. So - do some research on the colleges that interest you and you will find the answer to whether or not a 25 is "good".
