National Average scores for SAT and ACT?

What is the national average scores for SAT and ACT from 2008-2010?

For SAT scores can you tell me the average of each section and also the total average?
For example:
Math : 500
Critical Reading : 500
Writing : 500
Total : 1500

*It would be better if you can include averages for each ethnicity too, for instance African-Americans - 1800s or at least the top 3 ethnicity.

For ACT, I just want to know the composite average.
For example:
30/36

For the SAT (2010) data, see this College Board pdf.

For the ACT (2010) data, see this ACT pdf (page 8).

act composite seems to be 21 for 2010!

If you go to the College Board and ACT sites you can find many charts similar to those given above for current and prior years that provide national and by state medians and even number of of applicants who made certain scores including such info as number who scored 2400 or 36. Understand that those provide figures for a graduating class of seniors and thus the 2010 charts are for those who graduated from high school in 2010 and reflect any tests taken by that group while in high school. Also middle 50% figures provided are for "medians" not "averages."

how true it is. 90% is only 50%, scary high sat scores. that's not including that most were top 10% of their respective class.
another fact: Denzel Washington's daughter accepted to Yale with SAT score a little over 1900. Geez, roommates across the hall all scored on avg. 2300. 1 was perfect at 2400.
