Hi, quick question...

I got a 2300 even on the March SAT. (CR-740, Math-760, Writing-800) I'm pleased with this, as it was my first attempt, but at the same time, I wonder if I can do better. Literally, I got 3 wrong on CR, and 2 wrong on Math...so I'm hesitant that I'll really be able to improve that much.

Normally, I would just take it to be safe, but I want to take the SAT subject tests both in May and June. (taking 4). Would it be better to:

A) Take the SAT again and not take the Math II SAT subject
B) Not take the SAT again and taake the Math II SAT subject
C) any other ideas?

Thank you! :)

I dont know, you might be able to improve on reading. On most tests missing 3 is probably better than a 740, but the march reading had a pretty harsh curve.

You're fine. Your score distribution is such that the only way you'll really improve is by missing either 0 or 1 on both math and critical reading. Because there's not any one category you really need to improve, your 2300 is fine (and retaking for anything higher doesn't really affect college admissions chances- even at the top schools). I'd suggest you take the math II subject test and do well on that.

I got the exact same score as you on the March SAT! 2300 with 740 CR, 760 M and 800 W. Thats cool. :) I don't think I'm retaking because I got 800 CR on the Jan SAT and 800 on Math 2C and I'm pretty happy with that.

    If I were you, I wouldn't retake.
