Does anyone know if the October 22nd test date is too late for sending scores to a school for Early Decision when the deadline is November 1st?

Early Decision schools with Nov 1 app deadlines accept Oct ACT via regular delivery; test can arrive after the application deadline. Many such colleges even take the Nov SAT for ED. The same applies to Early Action colleges except there are a small number for which the Oct ACT would be too late (Illinois, Michigan, GTech)
