For international applicants??

Answer these ques from the perspective of a int applicant...( I am an Indian BTW)
1) my school offers no honors, AP, IB, or advanced-level courses of any type.....will this effect my chances??(i will still give 2-3 AP tests)
2)How will the financial aid be calculated for me??(my dad earns only $5500/year..so can i expect a 100% waiver if i get admitted)
3)Is it difficult to get in a US college particularly if you are a South Asian ??

1) Colleges will not penalize you for that. They take your academic rigor in the context of your school. As long as you have exceptional scores in whatever system your school offers, you'll be fine.

2) I can't answer that question.

3) Oh yes. I'd say South Asians are almost the most competitive international applicants; only some East Asians are more competitive (the Chinese and maybe the Singaporeans).

Wrong forum, BTW.
