What happens if you send scores twice and School doesnt superscore?

DS had great first ACT score in Feb, sent it out to 5 schools, is taking ACT again thru his HS( mandatory), they had the kids list schools where the scores should be sent.
He pretty much listed repeats of our Feb. list... should we cancel if they dont superscore?
What happens? He is going to do some practice tests to prepare but not the intense studying he did for Feb... his score could drop.

Each school has its own policy. However, most schools that do not superscore, will consider only the best one-sitting score. To know for sure, look the information up on school's you are interested websites.

If he had a great first score, you should not be wasting the free sends on the same colleges. Choose some different ones and I think you can still make the change in the on-line account.

If the colleges receive two ACT scores they will use that one with the highest composite (majority) or use the highest section scores from the combined tests (minority).

A friend said some schools use "most recent" score. I guess that is to help kids
where practice makes perfect... but it is possible for ones score to drop.
Does anyone know of a school that uses Most Recent Score? I dont think it's very common.
