Retake SAT?

SAT:
Reading - 620
Math - 650
Writing - 720
Overall - 1990

ACT: 32

I'm probably going to retake the SAT in order to get my reading and math scores higher because those are more important than writing and they are low. Do you think I should retake it or is my ACT score high enough for schools like Cornell, Columbia, or Johns Hopkins?

I definitely think you should retake it, unless your score is pretty stagnant

Not sure why you'd retake SAT when your ACT is so much better. ACT32=SAT2130 according to SAT-ACT Conversion chart

Thanks to both of you! If I don't retake it should I send only my act score to the schools? Do you think it's high enough?

Your ACT score is within the 25%-75% range for Cornell, but your SAT is a bit lower. I would say stick with your ACT score and don't worry about retaking the SAT

Thank you I think I'm just going to send my act score!
