Does it make sense for me to take both Math I and Math II?

Hi there!

I plan on taking SAT II's in October. I will be taking bio (probably E) and math. The only thing is, I have not taken precalc. Originally, I was going to take both Math I and Math II. In case I did poorly on the Math II, I still had the Math I to fall back on. Now, I'm thinking maybe I should just take one math. As I said, I haven't taken precalc, but I did take Honors Algebra II and we learned some precalc. For example, law of sines, law of cosines, sine and cosine graphs, and even trigonometric identities. On the SAT I, I got a 690 on the math section. Do you think I could just take the Math II and do well, or should I also take Math I for a back-up score? I plan on applying to some of the higher end colleges (like Cornell) that need the subject tests.

Also, for the bio, I haven't taken AP bio yet and the last time I took bio was as a freshman. I'm a junior now and don't remember much from freshman year bio, but it should be easy enough to self-study, right?

Thanks in advance!

Only take one math SAT II. Taking two would be a waste.

And yes, SAT II bio is easy enough to self-study.

I was studying for the AP Bio exam the same time was for the Bio M test, and I found a lot of the content to be the same. Sure, you could self-study, but you probably won't do as good is if you were taking the class.

Also you seem prepared for both math tests. Just pick whichever you want.
