I got a 35 math on this September act. I guess first, it depends on what type of person you are. Some people are much better at SAT math. Personally, I feel the SAT math is more tedious and tricky and requires more abstract thinking. And I feel ACT math is more algebra intensive and requires a solid knowledge of properties. So do whichever you are better at. As for the ACT math itself, I suggest you be really good at doing alebra-solving for x, multiplying or dividing exponents, etc. Work through the first 55 fairly quickly, leaving a good 10-12 minutes for the tough last questions. Also know your trig!! Know sohcahtoa, solving for an angle, central angle, etc. Don't get to caught up on any one question, skip it and move on.
