PSAT and SAT Math

I am currently a sophmore in high school taking Algebra 2. I am planning to take the PSAT this year, even though it will not count until next year. I am using this as a practice run, but I am worried about the math portion of the test. I got off first semester of freshman year and got c's in geometry and algebra 1. I managed to get these grades up my the end of 2nd semester and passed both classes with Bs. I am now worried that I will not do well on the PSAT or the SAT because I am not fully understanding the math on it. Will buying The Official SAT Online Course provide me with the information I need to know for my testing next year? If not, how can i get myself prepared?

The PSAT is a great way to see where your weaknesses are. It doesn't count for anything soph year and will give you a clear picture of what you need to know when you take it for real next year.

My daughter got the Princeton Review study guide for the SAT and did some of the practice tests, focusing on the stuff she missed on the math PSAT. (Math was also her weakness.) The book was about $18 and well worth it. If you're a good self studier, this is what I'd recommend.
