SAT Score Choice

So if a university does not allow score choice to be used, but I took the ACT and got a better score on that test, am I still required to send in my SAT I test along with my SAT II scores? Or can I just send in the subject tests?

Depends on the particular rules of the "all scores" college since there is a lack of any uniformity as to the meaning of that term so you have to check each college that has an anti score choice rule. Some require all SAT scores or, alternatively, all ACT scores and they may or may not also require all SAT IIs. Some require all SAT scores if you send any SAT score but you can just send one ACT instead and you do not have to send all ACTs. Some, e.g., Stanford require all SAT scores and all ACT scores but you can choose which SAT IIs to send.. Some actually require all scores you have for all tests, e.g., Upenn. Yale accepts the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT IIs and if you send ACT you need to provide all ACT scores (you can send one offical ACT score and report the rest in application). However, if you send any SAT or any SAT II you must send all SATs plus all SAT IIs.

In other words, the rules are a morass that you have to wade through for each college that has an all scores rule.
