How to determine which test to take

I'm only familiar with SAT and the score is subpar I looked up online if the SAT or ACT is for me and all that came up for some survey said didn't really help me is there anyway I could take a full SAT test I checked the acct website and I wasn't sure if that practice tests they had was full or just a mere sample by the way I apologize for not having periods I'm talking into my phone and it doesn't stop with periods also I grammar is terrible I'm sorry at the moment

I'd recommend taking both and seeing which you do better on. If you want to do so for free, most test prep providers offer free practice tests. Just make sure they use real SATs rather than their own approximation.

Here's the CB SAT practice test. Google is your friend.
Free SAT Practice Test - Prepare for the SAT

When you talk into your phone, say "period" and the voice recognition software will put the . in for you

The ACT also provides a full length practice test on their website as well.
