This site lists many schools as superscoring the ACT that have not been on the list before. Are more schools changing to this method or is this list not dependable?

Also, under the "superscore" column, does anyone know what the difference in scoring methods would be between "ACT" and "ACT Composite"?

Cannot tell you whether it is entirely accurate or includes all applicable colleges but it is obviously a decent piece of work. You should always double check the sites of the particular colleges to which you are applying to confirm its rules are as listed. When it says "SAT and ACT composite," it means the college superscores the SAT but uses that ACT with highest composite. The notation "SAT and ACT" without anything else is used to designated that the college superscores both. As a result, there are not, as you supposed, all that many that actually superscoore the ACT.

Well, GaTech's Early Action is 10/15 not 10/1....so not sure what else could be wrong on the list.

It uses "Highest Score from One Date" when the college does not superscore at all but instead uses that SAT or that ACT with highest composite score. Thus,"SAT and ACT" means it superscores both, "SAT and ACT composite" means it superscores SAT but not ACT, for which it uses that test with highest composite, and "Highest Score from one date" means it does not superscore at all, but uses that SAT or ACT test with highest composite score.

As to Gtech, it depends on when the list was put together. Last year its EA date was Oct 1.

If you look at the title of the doc you linked, it says for Fall 2012 entry, so it's for people who were applying to start school Sept 2012. The more recent chart is here: Compilation of the latest admissions requirements for top 100 schools | PrepMatters
