Is is bad to take the SAT more than 3 times?

I have taken the SAT 3 times trying to get merit aid at my #1 school choice. I just took the SAT in October. If I don't make the cut off score, is it bad to keep trying with more tutoring? My scores have gone up each time I took it, but only got tutoring this summer to prepare for the October tests. I am a senior in High school, and took the SAT twice in my Junior year.

marymount manhattan - sat math and reading of 1150. I know it's not a super high score, but right now I'm at a 1000, until I get the scores from october test - hopefully I went up 150 points with all my tutoring?!
