I just want to know the general range of scores to be commended for National Achievement NOT NATIONAL MERIT so before you post anything about National Merit please google National Achievement and you will find out it is as PSAT award for African Americans.

And Don't tell me to google the cutoof because I assure you it is not online for I have tried.

The cut-off is state-dependent. Students in MA, CT, etc. have to score considerably higher than students in, say, South Dakota.

To be better representative, you all should post your state as well because scores differ greatly across the nation.

For national ACHIEVMENT? Since your name is "UrAverageAzn", just thought I'd check.

I know someone commended at about 190 in California in 2007. In fact, THAT is sort of how I ended up on collegeconfidential!

National Achievement does not vary by state the way National merit does. The cutoff for NA this year was at most 199, because I know of students who qualified with that score.

UrAverageAzn, I'm assuming you were commended by National MERIT, not National Achievement. Two individual programs. And your 218 would have qualified as a National Merit finalist in some states, though not all.
