@EternityBlazer I think there were options like "disposed to...sophistry" and "adverse to...cliches".

@windowpainting and @heyhihello i know! why does california have a bad education system but one of the highest national merit cut off scores? I should just move to wyoming, then i only need a 200.

@fash123 i know right... D: & i don't get why it's done by state either! so strange

for a sentence comp question that asked about scientific equipment and it being blank for so many years; typically it only breaks down due to blank usage
was it RELIABLE and improper?
or FUNCTIONAL and something else?
i was deciding between the two and then rationalized that it could still be unreliable before it breaks down, but not functional, so i went with functional !

All y'all Cali kids need to stop complaining about the cutoff. It's 223 here in MA (for last year) which is 2 pts higher than CA last year. Highest state cutoff in the country right here, sigh...

FYI the last grid-in was 1350. If you expanded (m+t)^2 you get m^2 + 2mt + t^2. Which is equal to (m^2 + t^2) + 2(mt) = (750) + 2(300) = 1350.

signatureCC, i believe the sentence ended with "if we train consistently next year" so I said stand was wrong and had to be will stand. I put B. would you still say its no error even with the "next year"?

@andrew: Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like that. We are in similar boats, though, compared with kids in the low or even average cut-off states!
