PSAT Wednesday Thread

So the other PSAT Wed thread got deleted so I'm starting a new one.

In CR, how were the short passages about free will and neuroscience related? That really confused me.
Also there was some question about what the machu picchu represented...uh I had huge problems with time.
For Section 1, did you say Passage 1 was more enthusiastic than the Passage 2 because I had 30 seconds left and had to guess on the last two passages.

On the math, for the dogs question how do you get 12 ways?!!! I got 6.

On Writing there was one question starting out with "Viewing it from Earth, Mars..." did anyone put No Error?
What about the Terracotta Army question?

Dog question: The dog has 2 door choices, then 3, then 2, then 1. 2x3x2x1
If you didn't use combinatorics and drew it out instead you probably got 6 because you didn't account for the fact that each path can be reversed.

Mars: The error is "Viewing it from Earth". A correct version would be "Viewed from Earth". I couldn't tell you the exact grammatical error but I know there's definitely something wrong with the first one.

Terracotta Army I'm pretty sure I got no error.

Neuroscience says that free will isn't real.

Why did the other thread get deleted? We were already past the time limit! D:

I don't understand why our threads keep getting deleted. I mean, the first time someone told us that we weren't supposed to talk yet, but this time the Wednesday thread got deleted and the Saturday thread didn't, so I can't think of a reasonable explanation for that. They should have both been deleted if we were doing something wrong. If anyone has any idea why ours was deleted and Saturday's wasn't, please let us know so we don't cause it to get deleted again.

I think the first and second passage were related in that "passage 2 provided an example of people who disagree with the theory presented in passage 1." Or something like that. That answer didn't seem extremely strong to me, but it made the most sense of the options provided.

I believe I said that Passage 1 was more enthusiastic about an idea than Passage 2 was.

It appears that CC had some problems and the thread was temporarily deleted. It is now back up, and all is good in the world!
How do you guys think the curve will be?
I'm hoping for -4 CR to be 72 and -6 writing to be 65.

Strange, the Wednesday thread just reappeared... it definitely was deleted this morning, though.

Nick, just for reference, last year -5 (4 wrong) was 71, if that helps.

I did awful

Is there any way I can cancel my PSAT scores?? This willl be extremely embarassing when we get our scores back in advisory class.
So I did well on the PSAT practice test a month ago but somehow I got stumped on this test?
Like I'm already for sure already got -9 on CR and -6 on math and -4 on writing.....and that's reallyyy bad.
