ACT reading comprehension and SAT Critical reading?

Is the ACT reading section more straightforward than the SAT critical reading? For those of you who have taken both tests, an answer would be extremely appreciated

In my opinion, yes. But I will know better after June when I have taken both twice.

The ACT Reading is more straightforward, but it is WAY MORE RUSHED.

In a typical reading section on the SAT, you have 25 minutes for 19-20 questions. about 5 of those are quick, know-it-or-you-don't sentence completions, so you have about 22-23 minutes to answer about 14 reading questions.

On the ACT, the reading section is 35 minutes for 40 questions.

Based on PSAT vs. ACT, the ACT's are a lot more straightforward, and not ment to trick you...

I'm in the minority when I say the sat critical reading questions are far easier than the act. my test taking method revolves almost entirely on the line references, and the act does not have them. factor in the time constraints, and that's the difference between my 26 reading act and my 710 (good not great) cr sat
