Some planning ahead help please!

So I regret not taking the SATs earlier, but the first SAT I took was the March one of this year. I plan to take it again in June. I have not yet taken SAT IIs or the ACT.

So at the beginning of next year, there will only be virtually two remaining test dates for me: The Oct and Nov. test days.

Is my best bet to take all three SAT IIs in Oct, and then finish it with another SAT?

Are you allowed to retake SAT IIs? Because my only worry is if I do poorly in SAT IIs, I won't really have another chance to retake them. Not to mention I'll have to be taking 3 of them that day.

I know this is my fault for starting too late, but are there any suggestions on what I should do? There is technically a Dec. date, but I'm not sure if I want to do that one since it's very very close to around the time college apps will be due.

Also, are ACTs required at all? I plan to go to a UC school.

Thanks a lot.

Yes, you can retake the SAT IIs. Most schools take either the ACT or SAT; you're not required to take both.

I would prep as best you can for the SAT I this June, and not worry about the ACT until you see your score. If it's good enough for your target schools, only focus on the SAT IIs. That way you don't have to take them all at once, or can use the December date for a retake.

Over the summer, you should be able to do a good amount of prep.
