Take a 3rd Try?

January SAT vs. June SAT

CR: 680 --> 660
M: 530 ---> 630
W: 590 ---> 720

My scores jumped considerably from my first attempt to my second even though I wasnt confident after taking the June one. I feel that I can still improve (a. my CR shouldnt have gone down b. i can do better on the math section c. i didnt even finish writing my essay)

I want to get atleast a 2100, but im not sure if I should take it for a third try.. what do i do?

PS im not trying to get into Ivy league schools. The hardest school I will probably apply to is UVa

You should take it third time specially you feel that you could improve even if the school you want to attend accepts this score as higher score might get you the additional scholarships or grants which more money in your parents pocket.

even for UVA, its hard to get in (especially if you are out of state), so you probably would not be competitive with those scores. keep working hard, and good luck!
