OFFICIAL National Merit Semifinalist Cutoff Scores 2007

Ok, lets get this started. Just update this list as new scores come in. Add states in alphabetical order, please.

Just got mine today from my principal. 213 was the lowest semi at my school in Ohio.

MO - 221

Just heard that 217 is the cutoff in CA. Dropped two points from last year, because of the Writing.

CA - 217

for comparison purposes, last year's cutoffs are here.

National Merit Cutoff

Looks like OH dropped at least 2 points. That's in keeping with the 3 point decline in commended cutoff from last year to this year. Keep in mind mileage may vary. Good luck to all.

I think it's pretty obvious what year is relevant but if clarification is needed:

This thread pertains to the psat administered in 2006, for which semifinalist notifications are made in 2007 and finalist/scholarship notifications are made in 2008.
