Just got mine today from my principal. 213 was the lowest semi at my school in Ohio.

MO - 221
OH - 213

Just heard that 217 is the cutoff in CA. Dropped two points from last year, because of the Writing.

CA - 217
MO - 221
OH - 213

National Merit Cutoff

Looks like OH dropped at least 2 points. That's in keeping with the 3 point decline in commended cutoff from last year to this year. Keep in mind mileage may vary. Good luck to all.

Are you sure about the California score? My counselor said she hasn't received notification yet.

Just to clarify, this is the 2008 competition. Should perhaps the title be changed to that?

I think it's pretty obvious what year is relevant but if clarification is needed:

This thread pertains to the psat administered in 2006, for which semifinalist notifications are made in 2007 and finalist/scholarship notifications are made in 2008.
