| level 4 -2210 My son got this score on 3/1/08 sat test. He GPA in school is 3.2/4. Doesnt stand very high in ranking in the school out 500+ students. Could he hit any of the Ivies? |

| It's always possible, assuming he writes good essays, etc. There are many other excellent schools though, schools that aren't quite so ridiculously selective. |

| kua: Agree with fhg, in that it depends on essays, but it's not too likely given that Harvard admitted only 8% this year, and most of them were class vals with a similar, if not much higher, SAT. Get some good safeties and matches, and then hope for the best and no doubt the result will be favorable! |

| haha yup....had a really really tough life story, but has certainly made the most of every opportunity! Goes to a very competitive HS as well, so was definitely well prepared. I'm anxious to hear the final decision! |

| My number 1 choice is Stanford followed by Columbia and of course the other Harvard, Yale dream schools. My SATs are in the 2000-2100 range but I have a lot going for me as far as extra curriculars and other honors/accomplishments. I would really appreciate if someone like MissyJoe or anybody else can offer me some more indepth information on how they pulled of such a successful acceptance without perfect SATs.
