What about Aesop's fables. I think there are many morals that are in accordance with almost all essay topics. Are fables solid enough to use as examples in an SAT essay?

@Eternamisa I would use Aesop's fables because arent they a literary classic...I mean if we can use made up personal experiences we should be able to use fables...

*shameless bump for a good old thread*

I see that Celebrity and Heroism are quite popular prompt topics. If the question is something along "Should we admire celebrities" or "Should we admire heroes or celebrities", which examples do you suggest?

bump for January SAT

Is the Arab Spring too controversial to use as an example? What about Newtown and gun control/god in the classroom/mental health or is it still too fresh?
