Hey,
i have been doing practice tests from the official sat book from college board. I hear it is the best one to study from. For people who took the test, do you feel the dificulty of them to be the same or is one easier? Also are the questions repetitive in Math? And lastly is the curve going to be similar to what it is like in the book or would it be more or less?

i recommend baron, their tests are harder and will make the actual SAT easy. :]

^I completely disagree. The questions are just like you would see on the sat, so only use the book, nothing else. Only use other books for strategies.

o ok. But for the scoring scale, there appears to be a similar trend for all of them. Is it likely the same will be done for the other sats?

Thats what i heard about the barons questions. its not good to go to hard or to easy when practicing imo

the reason i love baron is because it explains to you how you get the answer step by step.

on the contrast, CB only states the answer without an explanation.
if you have the money.

start off with Baron. once you get a hang of what SAT has in store for you, switch to CB

i think that the blue book is easier than the real SAT's - however they are good practice. The grading system in the blue book is also pretty ridiculous - they give u a range of about 100 points for each section in every raw score count...

Its always better to practice with the real thing than with an imitation! If you have an algebra test, would you study with calculus? OK that's a bad example but still... If you practice with real questions, you get that "sixth sense" of what the CB is looking for and how their minds work!
