It is an even integer. For example, all integers ending with 0 are even.

To answer your other question, zero is neither positive nor negative.

0 is even (2 dived into 0 with a remainder 0).
freesn3 - multiple entries with the same question?
Is 0 a postive or even integer or both?

Zero is even. The definition of an even integer is this: n is even if (and only if) there exists an integer k such that n=2k. If n=0, then k=0 works, so zero is even. Note that this definition applies to negative integers as well, so -2, -4, etc. are all even.

Zero is neither positive or negative. You will sometimes see "non-negative integer" used to refer to 0, 1, 2, 3, ...

IT IS EVEN!!!! Even written 2p where p is an integer while odd is written 2p+1 where p is an integer.(this is a face i just learned in my math class) All integers are either even or odd.(this is a theorem). It is not odd because it cannot fit the form 2p+1 where p is an integer. Therefore, since it is not odd, it is even. (2(0))=0 It's EVEN!!

0 is actually defined as an interger, and it is even. It explains it like that in the SAT bluebook, I remember I missed a question like how many intergers from -27 to 30, and I forgot that zero was an interger Good thing it was a practice ^^ BTW I would go with the college board's definition of zero, and anything else
for that matter
