I feel like it is, but the feedback I've been getting is not as positive as I expected. It's not like I'm looking at Ivies or anything, I'm looking at pretty selective LAC's but I thought that that was above acceptable for those colleges...
(Conn College, Bucknell, Dickinson, Gettysburg, Skidmore, St. Lawrence etc.)
A 2080 is a great score in my opinion. I have a friend who got accepted to West Point pretty early and he got a 2050. I dont know about the schools you mentioned, but you would probably still have a good chance of getting into any of them. I'm applying to the service academies and the average SAT score is about a 1900. Don't worry what others say, especially people who are always talking about the ivies and forgetting about everything else, that is still a great score.
I only did slightly better than that, and I got into several Ivies.
Colleges are taking a more holistic approach to admissions, so test scores aren't the only factors that matter.
Your scores are excellent and you have selected target schools very well. Many posters on CC seem to be aiming for ivy leagues and have an exaggerated sense of normal scores. Good luck in your applications.
well I think for one student whose first language is English, especially American, 2080 is not high enough. Spending 16 years in English speaking country should give you higher result then.
