What happens of school loses power during an AP exam?

We're having a bad storm. My husband happened to drive by my son's school and the power is out in the whole neighborhood. It would have happened about 15 minutes into the Comp Sci exam. What happens?

Ironically, a transformer blew today and my school was let out early due to loss of power, even with AP exams. I would think that the school would have to move the exam to another location; that's what my school did for both this morning and this afternoon's exams.

Weird....what the heck is going on today
At my school the fire alarm was malfunctioning and it went off 3 times this morning. AP Spanish and Comp Science had to stop and leave the building three times during the test. I heard that they might have to retake the tests on the make-up day because "test security was breached"!

wow this happened to me yesterday too during my compsci exam!

the proctors told us to close our test booklets and we waited for a bit. then the lights came back on, so we just continued with our tests. Throughout the tests, the lights went out and then back on several times - the proctors just gave us extra time at the end... about ten minute's worth, which was waaay more than enough.

if anything happens though, I think students would just re-take the test on the make-up day. In fact, that's what I almost had to do because my school had signed me up to take the wrong test. But I was lucky and there was an extra!

heyy that happened in our school, as well!

the power went on and off like three times, and the proctor had to tell the students to close the books when the lights went off, and then open them when they turned on again.

this happened during comp sci and spanish lang, yesterday.

we had a fire alarm go off yesterday during computer science, but they were allowed to continue once we got back into the building, and apparently they aren't going to require retakes...

last year during chinese the computer system crashed in the middle and we all had to hang out in the hallway for awhile, and then we went back in and picked up where we'd left off.

My D had this happen several years ago, they lost power during an exam for abour 20 minutes. When the power came back on, they finished the exam. When she got the scores, the score for that exam had an asterick next to it and a comment that there was a problem with the facility during the test.

whoa! I know a girl who had a freak wreck just miles away from the AP exam. Like a truck hydroplaned, hit a jeep which jumped the concrete divide, then the jeep hit a van that knocked her car off the road. she was okay but missed the test. must be a sign! maybe I shouldn't go to my AP History or Chem test!

Turned out to be only a very brief power outage (they've been known to last all day-they are sent home due to no power once or twice every year).

Anyway, now I'm intrigued to see how long it takes the CB to answer my email.
