When taking many AP classes to "challenge" yourself and look your best on college applications, how do you feel when your college choice does not accept all of the AP credits even with scores of 4-5. I notice that some of the top colleges limit AP credits to specific classes.
Suck it up. MOST colleges will not accept all your AP scores. In some cases they have a valid argument that their course offers more or does not follow the AP course exactly. In other cases they just want to make sure you have a firm foundation before proceeding to more difficult work.
Honestly? I don't care. I'm taking the classes so I can get into the college I want to get into. I'm excited about taking college courses in college. My goal is not to get out of college as quickly as possible.
Don't accept NO CREDIT as an answer until you have personally spoken to the Dean/Dept. Chair who makes that decision. The admissions folks don't make that decision nor do they always have a clue as to what each department's policy is.
