Late SAT Registration

Is there a method to try and see if a spot eventually opens up at a closer test center? I forgot to register and now its past the deadline and most of the spots are taken at my current HS. Thanks.

Is late registration still open? You'll have to pay an extra fee (I think it's like $20 or something) but then you'll be signed up for the test centre.

Otherwise, you could do standby testing.

Ever do a standby flight at the airport? Basically they will seat you if they have the space (e.g. some kids who registered don't show up, or if they have extra booklets)

See SAT Standby Testing for more specific information.

What are the cahcnces of not being able to take the test alltogether if there is not space? Is there a way to be up to date with the situation on this?
