PLEASE! Some Math/Sci. ACT tips!

On the last ACT test, I scored:
36 English
27 Math
36 Reading
25 Science
COMPOSITE: 31

I KNOW I can improve here, but how?! I've done all the practice tests in the REAL ACT prep guide (red book), but I can't ever seem to finish the math section (and complete the last, say, 10 questions and get them all right).. and science, well, I never come close to finishing.. i don't find the content difficult, but the timing is a whole different story.

anyways, do you guys have any tips on how to improve in these areas?
what's a good prep book? btw, idc if its complete overkill in the book, as long as it tells me how to kick a** in math and science

my goal is 29-30 in math and 28-30 in science. i want a 33 composite

PLEASE HELP! thanks.

Science: if you're having trouble finishing, you may be taking the wrong approach. You may have noticed, but you do NOT have to read the 2 paragraph introduction to each set of questions. Read the questions and go the graphs to which they refer. If a question requires you to read an actual blurb (the ones that are like to test X, student1 did this and student 2 did that blahblah), skip and come back after you’ve done all the graph questions that basically ask for you to look at pictures and interpret them. : )

If you haven't been reading the blurbs and still haven't been able to finish..uhh..follow the same advice: graphs first, other later.

Hope that helps!
