Accuracy of ACT Prac Test

I was wondering if anyone could share experience with taking the ACT Practice tests, scoring them with the scale found in most books, and comparing them to your real score. I have not taken the actual ACT yet but have begun practicing with the Princeton Review Practice Tests and those from the Real ACT and online tests.

When I first took a practice test, i scored in the upper 20's except for science where i scored in the low 20s. Since that test when I became familiar with the format however, I consistently score in the mid-30s (31-34) on all sections except for Science where i stay near the 30 mark (28-30).

Im hoping that the tests are very accurate, as these scores would be better than my SAT. Hopefully, someone has some experience to share. Thanks!

So far from my experience, the practice ones have been fairly accurate, but it really depends on the book you're using. I know Barrons does overkill on a lot of the practice tests and makes them tons harder then the real one.

Real ACT and PR tests are the most accurate.
