SAT retake or try ACT ??

Okay, so I'm going to be applying to colleges anytime now that I am a senior, and my number one school is University of Delaware. I want to be a nursing major, so it's going to be tough to get into the school. I already took the SAT's three times and I am still not happy with my scores. I struggle so much on the standardized tests, and I have no idea why. I bought the SAT collegeboard book, didnt really help. I bought the Kaplan CR book and that only rose it up 10 points. My scores are best combined ...

CR - 530
M - 640
W - 540

Now considering that Udel doesn't do any early decision and everyone finds out at the same time if they are accepted (mid march) im thinking about taking the ACT on sept. 13 and then i can still apply to Udel. I'm just so stressed about it and unsure if i should. Maybe i should just give up and go to another school. what do you guys think?? THankS !!

Since you've already done it 3 times, I'd say that you should try the ACT. Lots of people who don't get their desired score on the SAT do wonderfully on the ACT, and you could definitely be one of them. I don't know much about the University of Del. so I can't really give any advice about that though. :\
