in my previous coment this was the quote from somebody who happened to now delete their comment from this topic -
"I was at a bbq today and ppl were discussing SATs and I said mine and everyone was just like silent. It was then i realized how great college confidential is, where ppl see my score (2300) and tell me how short of 2400 i am. Thanks guys!"

i just commented on it

sorry for being unclear

My D knows the scores will be up today (only because I told her from reading CC), but I'm sure she's still sleeping and won't be up until 11 or 12.

D can't even remember her May SAT I scores! (it was over 2300).
That's how much she views these test scores, says "they aren't very interesting" and it's instant-forget after the testing.

My heart was pounding like crap when I turned on the computer to get my scores today. I even skipped school because I didn't want to look at the faces of my teachers (I honestly hate school, but the reason why is a story for another time). A 2340 score was so worth it. I can't wait for the detailed score report.

For kids who care to wait up for their scores,
there is nothing "wrong".
The world is big enough to have all kinds of individuals.

Congrats to all who did well/met your goals.
Best wishes for those who plan to study & retake;
also remember these test scores are just 1 component on your college applications, they don't represent everything about you!

I completely forgot today was the day that CB was releasing the June scores. When I remembered at noon, I got all giddy and ran to the computer. lol

SAT isn't the only thing in our lives. But it is a fun competition for us. Naturally, we want to see how well we did. Although I don't sit there and constantly refresh, for those who do, there's nothing wrong or abnormal about it.
