heh thanks. i think that was his last year. it was so frustrating. he would just hand out practice sections every day, and not tell us how to improve on them. so we would do them get roughly the same score every day from day one to day 175 or whatever.I was just really hoping to scrape a 3. o well, i got a 5 in english language and a 4 in bio, so im alright with it. but i can pretty much say goodby to ap scholar or whatever

lots of people are getting their scores where I live. I know people who have gotten 5s and stuff but they are the typical super geniuses so i dont know if that says anything about the curve

I took Psych, Lit, Calc AB, Econ, and Govt, and got a 4 on all of them.
Psych was harder than I expected (although not necessarily difficult), calc and lit were exactly what I expected, and econ and govt were far easier than I expected--neither teacher prepared us well for the latter 2.

I agree with jamesford. The AP exam curve will not change much.

From what I recall reading around the time I took my Calc AB and Psych exams, getting about 70% of available marks should let you squeak by for a 5. However, I like to play it on the safe side and get more than that. Fingers crossed for when the results come in the mail... :X

One thing's for sure: These AP Exams are a hell of a lot tougher to ace (i.e. 90%+) than the normal exams I take.

dd took gov (5) and Eng (4)...surprised because she felt really unprepared for the free choice in gov and felt good about English...needed the 5 in gov to get credit but only a 4 in english for credit so go figure!

The curve is always going to be generous.

Think about it: 67% on most AP tests is equivalent to an A (5) while you would generally need 90+% for an A on the typical HS exam.

What is the bio curve like? How many m.c. right for a 5? I think i did well on the essays except for 2 parts of different questions. I think i skipped like 13 m.c. so i didn't get 1/4 point off.
