My son took SAT in 7th grade and then again this year in 11th. When he took the SAT in 7th grade we were told the average increase in 50 pts per year per section. His scores were very close to this. 520-560 per CR/Math section in 7th grade and 720/760 in 11th grade.

He didn't need the Writing for CTY in 7th grade so I don't remember his 7th grade Writing score.

Friend's sibling (6th grade) took the PSAT writing from the booklet his older sibling brought home.

76W, 6th grade! (one wrong; finished in 3/4 the time allowed)

No, he is not asian... most people assume he is.

A composite score of 30-31 for ACT in the 6th grade is extra-ordinary.

My son's results so far:

ACT
7th grade: 21
8th grade: 25

SAT:
7th grade: Math 620, CR: 420, WI: 400 (essay 6)
8th grade: Math 700, CR: 490, WI: 520 (essay 8)

He is in 9th grade this year and will be taking SATs on March 10th and ACT in April. He expects a huge jump in CR and WI scores and hopes not to make stupid mistakes on Math portion. He did not start preparing for ACT yet.

I am only in 7th grade, so I don't know if I did well or not, does anyone care to tell me?
Anyways, I didn't take the writing test, so I don't have a score for that. My scores were:

Composite:23
English:21
Mathematics:17
Reading:32
Science:20

Since the total scored are out of 36 possible, I don't really think I did so well, but I am not in 7th grade and I only studied for about 5 minutes, so I have an excuse, but I proabably should've studied. Also, apparently, I am eligible for taking 1st year college courses for English and reading. Bragging material right there.

The funny thing is, alot of the math questions involved equations solving inequalities, which we learned in math THE DAY AFTER I took the ACT test. Dang math curriculum.

I got a 1230 in 7th grad Just got a 2240 on my JR year SAT and feel like I can get a 2300+ on my next retake. By no means is your initial testing a predictor of what you will do in the future. In my opinion if you are a naturally somewhat intelligent person with enough effort you can break 2100. I remember my first time I got tired of sitting for 5 hours so I guessed on half the questions out of frustration.
