DD would like one more shot at the ACT. Website says scores are available starting Dec 28 (without writing) and many schools say test scores are due Jan 1. What do colleges do with scores that arrive after their official deadline? Should she send her OK score (with writing) and hope they accept the new one?
Check closely what the schools actually say. Except for a few, colleges with Jan 1 app deadline accept December scores even though they may arrive after Jan 1. The app deadline is not the deadline for receipt of test scores.
