I got a 8 on my essay

I can't write well under pressure. I seriously need all the time I can get to think my ideas through.. Will colleges look down upon this? I got a 650 on writing if it matters at all.

Colleges I'll be applying to:
U of Washington-Seattle
U of Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh
U of Michigan-Ann Arbor
Whitman College

Don't worry about it too much for most of the colleges you're applying to. I think it's the 650 which'll be looked at more than the essay 8, and if it helps at all, there are many people with high 700s in Writing but an 8 or 9 essay and a lot of them do get into the colleges of your choice - so the essay isn't something to worry about too much. Besides, a 4/6 (or 8/12) demonstrates what they call "adequately consistent mastery", I think, so there shouldn't be much to worry about. To put it in perspective, though, how are your SAT scores in general?

Just write stellar personal statements and secondary essays for all the schools you are applying to. That will indicate to your prospective choices that you can indeed write, but perhaps not under severe time pressure. As writing essays in less than an hour is not really a skill you need to succeed in college (unless you're an avid procrastinator), I would say the schools won't mind too much. Good luck!

Does the college even see the essay score? I believe they don't see the sub score because the score report I see when looking at the sent score to colleges, it does not contain the essay score.
