Should I retake the SAT? I promise it's not over 2000.

I took the SAT in October and got 1840. The breakdowns look like this CR 560, M 630, W 650.
I know critical reading is awfully low so should I retake in December? Or will December be too late for most of the schools I want to go to?

If you can get CR in the 600s I'd say that you have an okay shot in terms of standardized testing. Just check their respective sites to find out more info on the latest SAT date they allow.

More schools than not will accept a December SAT, but you should check with yours specifically just to be sure. If they do, then sure, take it again! You've got a month to prepare and you'll probably just want to focus your efforts on the CR. Good luck!
