SAT II Literature?

What sort of questions does this test ask?
I already know about the two others I will take. I want to take three because I plan on applying to selective schools.
I'm in AP Language and Composition. Will this help for the SAT II in Literature? What knowledge is necessary and is it easy to get a good grade? What is the best prep book?

Fewer people get really high scores on SAT II Literature than on most of the other SAT II tests. It's one of the most widely taken tests, but only 6% of SAT II Lit test-takers score 750+, and only 18% score 700+.

In contrast:
U.S. History: 11% 750+; 25% 700+
Math II: 25% 750+; 37% 700+
Bio-M: 18% 750+; 36% 700+
Chemistry: 21% 750+; 37% 700+
Physics: 24% 750+; 40% 700+

I've never taken the test; it wasn't around back in my day. But my D who took it and scored very well says it's a lot like the SAT I CR but with more challenging passages to read. People who score very high on SAT I CR tend to do pretty well on SAT II Lit. It also may be helpful to be familiar with a few key literary terms like "metaphor," "simile," "irony," "alliteration." "synecdoche," etc. Other than that, it doesn't presume any particular substantive knowledge; it's basically just trying to test your ability to read and interpret challenging texts.
