Best SAT prep classes?

A lot of local SAT prep courses (Princeton Review, Kaplan, Huntington's, etc.) are offering pretty decent specials. I'm quite aware that you don't need the courses to study, and that you can simply study for the SATs yourself, but anyone know which courses would be best? I already am studying vocab and whatnot myself, but I kinda think the 'forced' regiment of SAT classes with homework and stuff could benefit me (it's more of a self-psychology thing).

Honestly, I've looked through the deals and promotions they have, and even if they raise my score by like 50 points, it'd be worth the small cost it has.

A couple of my friends/relatives took the Kaplan course, though leaning towards maybe PR. Anyone speak with any experience (please, do NOT tell me they are a waste of time/money, I know that).

Bump. Come on, there's bound to be someone here who has taken a SAT prep class.

Friends and I took a Testmasters class. The review book was decent, especially for Math. Overall, it's a decent enough course to help you get to the 2100 mark, but after that self-studying is the best way to go. good luck bro/bro-ess! :)

for how much they charge, however, I would say it isn't worth it, but it's your choice.

Lol, I'm aiming for around that anyway. I read that TestMaster's a pretty work intensive course, which I hope is true. I've been prone to slacking off when it's just me motivating myself.
Thanks though, anyone else have any opinions?

Find a local company. My friend enrolled in a summer course and scored a 2320. The curriculum was basically Xiggi, except he was given every practice test ever written, not just from CB.

The best SAT prep class is no class at all.

I went to a place called Elite Educational Institute which speciallizes in SAT... I got a 2310 after that but i think Elite is only in CA...

@getsome5656 - totally disagree with you. That is why I recommend not advertising on this forum, which isn't for advertising at all.

There are good places in Jersey. Find where the Koreans go.
