Books to get for a 2400 and 800 cr?

Help! Critical reading is staying at 740! Are there any books to get that can budge it up to 800? I am also an enthusiastic reader and I even read the economist and Bloomberg businessweek daily. Can this help me improve cr?
Any suggestions for 800 math? Heard dr chungs was good. Keep getting like 780...

Thanks! Heard that the final step from a 2200 to a 2300 is not knowledge but focusing on the technicalities I.e sat traps. Do u think 2400 books are good for this?

I am an avid reader so that will certainly help my cr right? I find that I am sometimes too impulsive and pick the answer before finding evidence in the passage so it significantly lowers my score.

@jaminjuni: I have the Barron's 2400, is it any good?

I currently have a multitude of books. I have the Barron's sat, Barron's 2400, blue book, Kaplan sat, kaplan math, kaplan cr, Kaplan writing, rocket review and hot words for the sat.

you have rocket review. its the ultimate sat guide for CR. i am dieing to get it. you should post a page with some really helpful things from it. but i have barons 2400. i like it. my problem is mostly vocab. i just can't keep my vocal in memory. ill remember it by definition but can't get it in sentences or remember on tests.

Family education is the rocket revolution really good? It seems to be judging from the countless positive reviews.

How many times are you all taking the SAT to go from 740- 780 to 800 in a section? Does this make a huge difference to a college? Does the college care if you take it again and your score goes down? At this level, it could be one or two questions that make the difference either way.

Just curious, a parent that would have been fine with that score in the first place, but maybe times have changed...
