No, i just want to try my best first, see what i'm capable of and after that I have no problem showing my results to whoever, but first I want to keep it a little "secret".
It's required to enter my high school data, though - and I don't want to enter a wrong school. /:

If you're unsure of your likely score range take an exam from the College Board Blue Book. Don't cheat. Strictly follow the time restrictions. Write the essay and assume a score of 8. Grade the test. You'll have the likely score.

Keeping your counselor out of the loop on your college board/ACT tests and college applications is unwise. Regardless of your location you'll need your counselor and principal to help -- perhaps moreso than for an American applicant because colleges will most likely know little about your school.

"Regardless of your location you'll need your counselor and principal to help" -
Are recommendation letters the most appropriate form of "help"?
How many recommendation letters should I get as bare minimum?
[my idea: 4 recommendation letters (too many?) - two from my language teachers, one from my principal (he's also my maths teacher - but honestly he's not a big fan ) and the last one from another teacher, social studies/psychology for example]
Should all letters be written in german, translated and certified by a notary?

Thanks for all responses!

Why would it be required to share your high school?

Humm, the opposite is true.

I have made the same recommendation for many years, and that is to NEVER indicate your high school on the College Board forms, and if the PSAT information creates a link to request a removal of the information at the College Board.

There are no reason why a school should have your scores, and plenty why they should never have that information.

PS I also suggest that you'd post your last questions in the Parents' forum.
