I really just want this score back now....I can't wait 19 days. Anyone planning on taking it again? Hopefully this was the first and last time I take this darn thing.

Why couldn't the actual writing MC section be the first one! Lol. I'm pretty sure I missed 0 on the first MC section, and like 3 on the one following.

I'm almost certain that I didn't break 2100 on yesterday's sitting. I made careless mistakes throughout the test. I'm pretty mad, but there's really nothing I can do now except study for the upcoming November test. I most likely won't be doing any prep this week because of 9-week finals and finishing EA applications. I might have time to start preparing again this upcoming Friday or Saturday. Preparation time depends on if I finish my essays and applications. I hope everyone else met or exceeded their goals. Unfortunately, I will be taking the November SAT. Maybe things will be different this time around…

I honestly can't imagine studying for this again. I did 5 months prep for the one yesterday. I seriously hope I got 700s all around....
Did anyone else find the CR pretty difficult?

I thought the CR was a lot easier to follow than most of the passages in the BB, but I already know I got 1, possibly 2 wrong for sentence completion (and I had 50/50 chances for both -___-).

Critical Reading was crazy. While I was on the CR sections, people outside the test center were playing really, really loud brutish music. The entire building was like shaking and vibrating. I couldn't really concentrate, and I would have 8 questions left when the proctor would say 5 minutes left. Yes, this happened multiple times through the test. Especially towards the middle. I also made stupid mistakes on the actual writing section. I had an experimental writing section. The writing sections were back-to-back for me. I did really well on the first because I felt as if I didn't miss any (experimental), and I did somewhat poorly on the following writing section (real). I think I missed 2-3 questions. I made really, really stupid mistakes on math. I changed right answers to wrong answers, and I did the same on Critical Reading. Feel free to post on here guys. I'll still be very active - I check CC like every 15 min on my phone - but I won't be preparing this week. I'm still free to discuss/talk about things.

I also had noise problems but not as extreme as your's. There were just really loud tractors outside that was quite annoying

There was constant stomping in the hallway (running) and other noises, but it didn't bother me. I had literally the best sleep of my life on Friday because I had been on my treadmill for about an hour and didn't go to school that day, so I felt really good on Saturday, and nothing was able to break me.

Seniors, if you didn't score well on the october one, would you guys take the december one and turn in your applications before the January 1 deadline?

I am wondering because most of my friends never thought of doing this...perhaps too late by then or what?

As far as Math is concerned, I'm thinking I'm going to go through PWN the SAT and Dr. Chung's. I really want to improve my math score. Albeit I don't know what I made on the October sitting, I have a feeling that I did pretty poorly on the math portion. I made silly mistakes like forgetting to divide by the percent to find entire population. (Senior question on SAT. I got 150, but I forgot to divide by .6 to get 250.) I'm also going to finish up The SAT CR bible. I really need to cram in some vocab as well. I missed at least 3 sentence completions on the oct. test lol. Eh, calculus 9 weeks final tomorrow. I'm gonna finish studying for that, and I'll try to finish up this one app. I'm off Friday, so SAT prep starts then! I learned a valuable lesson. If one has the goal of 2100, then one will ultimately be discouraged from aiming for a perfect score. One should always aim for 2400 and nothing less. I'm going to try to prepare with a different mindset now. Any of you guys planning to retake/take the SAT again in November? Any other worried seniors here? Haha.

hi you seem so determined- it's great! did you sign up for the november sat? i took this past october one and i'm pretty sure i want to retake, cuz i know i can do better. do you think it's smarter to take one immediately after the initial test, or wait a few months to retake? my sister did the latter and did 90 points better for a 2390... not trying to brag (well i'm not even bragging about myself haha) but she is really smart and i dont know if i'll even remember rules for writing in a few months..
are you applying early action/decision?
