Wow, Shadowmist! I am SOOOO excited to hear about your score increase, especially since this is just a fraction of the total work. Makes what I do worthwhile. Congratulations!
Simple to read and thorough! Nice guide. I would like to add that the SAT usually uses "literal" answers. For example:
What does the phrase "it's raining cats and dogs" mean?
A) it's raining hard
B) cats and dogs pour down from the sky
C) wrong answer
D) wrong answer
E)wrong answer
In this question, B would be false because it is too literal.
That's so helpful!!!! I wish I had seen it earlier.
I actually used some of these techniques in the test, but it is not as clear as to see a comprehensive analysis like this!!! I am so bad in CR..... I hope I could raise my score to 600 in Dec one.......
Thank you so much!
It's a really Helpful analysis !!
I believe it would really Help me tackle the CR tricks and beat the CR part .
I'm really thankful for your great effort
keep it up m8
This was a great post. I don't have a method of answering my Critical Reading questions. I'm going to implement this method when I take the SAT next time.
