"having and being" how dose it come in the sat exam ??
my teacher said that it is only true when it comes in the begining of the sentence and that is make the sentence longer if u used them in your own writing

I don't know about "having" but "being" is always wrong so you can safely eliminate the choice with it.

I'm sorry. It seems I failed to learn the rule that SAT was trying to teach me: "do not use absolutes".

The word "being" is almost always used incorrectly. Sometimes it is used correctly. Fogcity gave some good examples.
