Which SAT review books?

I see that many of the threads are a few years old, and although they probably haven't changed much, I'm looking for some insight into which to buy.

I've ONLY ever used the Blue Book, and honestly didn't even do much of it. Didn't really study for the SAT at all to be honest, so I'll take any advice I can get. I'm looking for a math and CR book that can take me from the mid 600's to over 7, and a VERY basic/beginners book for writing, as when I wrote my essay I realized that I had no idea what I was doing, and I never actually practiced writing an essay before.(ran out of time..)

So far I've heard Dr. Chungs is good for math, and Rocket something for CR. What do you guys recommend?

I haven't used Dr. Chung's, and am done with the SAT, but I've heard great things. Grubers is a close second in the eyes of most CC'ers. Grammatix and Rocketreview are good for CR, but good luck finding a copy of Rocketreview (without the help of $100+). I liked Barron's a lot too. I used that one the most, and brought my score up 300 points, and hopefully 500 by the time I get my October scores back.

I used some older version Barron's book (maybe 11, i think theyre up to 14 now) and although the format was a little off it had some tough practice tests for math that made the actual SAT seem easier. For writing I would stick to online resources (CC posts, spark notes) and just refer to the Blue book for practice.
