Critical Reading experts please help!

How do you guys get 700-800 on the CR section. Please offer help on how to break the 700 barrier. Do in read more carefully or what? and the most passages that i find hard are the ones about politics. How do i approach these kinds of passages and others alike.

Ha, there are a few guides out there, make use of them. Xiggi's/Silverturtle's etc.
I'm already a senior who took the October SAT and I don't see myself making any higher than a 650 on it. I'm just going to get used to the fact that I'll never break a 700 on reading. I just wasn't conditioned for it. I didn't read many books as a kid.

Just make sure you read a lot in your free time. Books, magazines, newspapers, they all help you become a better reader. That's all I did to prepare and I got an 800.

"Critical reading study guide" helped me out some. It's got some interesting strategies that cut down on how long I spent on passages. It's not the best ive seen for vocab, but pretty solid for passage based questions

I've scored 800 twice on CR. If you really want the score, read Crime & Punishment or a similarily long book before the next test. This helps with reading comphrehension and vocabularly. If you are capable of 650+, then the easiest way to break the 700 barrier would be to take ten or more practice tests.
