November SAT II Bio?

I looked at discussions on previous tests, they seemed really hard... Is it hard to get above 770? That's what I'm aiming for. Is Barron's a good Prep book? This is my first SAT subject test and I really don't want to screw this one up...

Have you taken/are you taking AP bio? So easy comparatively.

I didn't use a prep book, so I don't know which is best. Just use your bio textbook/class notes.

No I only took Honors Bio because I won't be taking AP bio until my senior year... I read the textbook over the summer... Didn't really remembered much

I'm also taking the test Saturday. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you, with the only difference being that I've taken AP Bio. To review, I've been using sparknotes, which has review material and 3 practice tests with scoring and analysis (you do need to create and account). I've also been using info from the link below:

http://www.xtremepapers.com/papers/S...%20Biology.pdf

This is pretty much a review booklet online. It has review material, along with 3 practice tests. There is no scoring guide to the tests, but Sparknotes has one, so you should be good. I don't have a review book tailored to the test, but a friend of mine who took the test and got above a 700 (she wouldn't give me precise info) used the Barron test prep book. I'm using Cliff's AP Bio review book from last year to prep, and that book was a saving grace for me last year for the exam. I hope this helps; good luck!

Honors bio should be enough. The SAT II goes into much less detail than any decent AP bio course.

And, while I didn't study for the SAT II directly, I did use the Barron's AP Bio review book to study for the AP, and got a 790 on Bio E. (And then, my interests shifted to Bio M. Oh well.)
