Match pg 463/ 15

If m is the greatest prime factor of 38 and n is the greatest prime factor of 100, what is the value of m+n???
A.7
B.12
C.24
D.29
E.44

The way I see it: 38=2*2*7 and 100=2*2*5*5
5+7=12
B

WHY DOES THE ANSWERS SAY 24?????????????????????????

first get the factors of 38- 1x38, 2x19...... notice that 19 is the greatest prime factor of 38.
same for 100- 1x100....5x20...notice that 5 is the greatest prime factor of 100

so 19+5=24

"The way I see it: 38=2*2*7"

Its 38, not 28, hence its 19*2. 19+5 = 24.
